Seth Digby
Owner / President
Chief Architect and Deal Maker
With nearly 30 years of experience in Telecommunications, Seth's hard work and ambition fueled his need to learn all that he could about the industry. His knowledge encompasses everything from fiber to the home, Hybrid Fiber Coax and a myriad of wireless communication methodologies and their respective construction and deployment. He has spent a great deal of his career on the construction of Central Offices and optimization, certification and management of Optical, HFC and Wireless networks, as well as aerial and underground construction. He has traveled the country both as a contractor and has owned several of his own successful businesses over the years before settling down and working for multiple ISPs in Washington State. He now owns and operates multiple companies including Broadband Development Group LTD.
Stan Ekedahl
COO
With over 41 years' experience in the Telco and Broadband industry, most recently as Director of Operations with Wholesail Networks, a division of Ziply Fiber, Stan brings a robust and deep level of understanding of not only the industry, but best practices. Among other roles, Stan has been an experienced Senior Project Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the telecommunications industry. Skilled in Operations Management, Team Building, Data Center, Construction, and Management. Strong program and project management professional with a BSCM focused in Construction Management from Everglades University.
Anthony Nordholm
Operations Manager
Started his career in 2013 as a Solutions Engineer with JDSU providing training and education to a number of large accounts like Facebook and the New York Stock Exchange. Transitioned to OSP construction as the supervisor for all fiber splicing in Charlotte and Raleigh for Google Fiber. Eventually, Anthony made his way into ISP construction as a supervisor for all cabling including data, security, fire, wireless, and DAS systems in Seattle for Amazon. He started with BDG in the founding year of 2019 where he helped build the business, train new employees, develop customer relationships, and bid contracts. Anthony took Western Washington and Oregon as other managers were hired to cover the rest of the state. Currently, he focuses on turnkey solutions for new and existing contracts which can involve other managers and their teams - all while maintaining continued service in the U.S. Army Reserve as a commissioned officer and aviator.
Vanessa Digby
Vice President
Vanessa has accumulated 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry starting from the ground up. She enjoys expanding her knowledge and the ever-changing technology behind it. Her experience covers a range of skills including work in the field and warehouse, fiber splicing, flagging traffic, fleet tracking and management, office work, and Customer Service for a small ISP. She moved on to BDG in 2018 when it started.
Luis Cuevas Arias
Manager - Aerial Team
Prior to 2019, Luis worked for a local ISP company where he completed fiber-to-home upgrades to a majority of the network while maintaining a Docsis 3.0 and cable system for the remaining network. Luis joined BDG in 2019 and often manages multiple jobs in various locations and states at one time. Luis now manages Underground, Aerial, Pole Climbing, Coax and Fiber Splicing, Testing, Fiber Certification, Pole Violations, and C.O. work. In addition, he manages all outages and emergency situations that occur.
Shawn Digby
Manager - Drill/Bore Team
In 2008 Shawn gained experience in pipelining, bores, utility, fabrication, grade, and restoration. He also received General Foreman certification in ISSO procedures and forms, as well as a number of other safety certifications such as confined space, fall arrest, H2s Alive, CSTS, PCSTS, and ground disturbance level 2. During this time, Shawn managed multi-million-dollar jobs and crews up to 150 members. For approximately 5 years, Shawn was a sub-contractor for BDG doing aerial work. He joined the BDG team in 2021 as a fulltime employee and worked his way up to a management position where he now manages all aspects of underground work.
Karl Ohlemann

From Fortune 100 (Nike) to over 25 years' experience as Founder, Board Chair, CEO, CFO, and Head of Strategy, Innovation, and Technology of multiple companies with sales of over $200 million in sales, Karl has seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. He has been fortunate to align with some incredible people and organizations over the years, and believes in the power of community, straight-talk, anti-fragility, and honesty. Karl is currently in MIT's 120-week Executive Management Program at the MIT Sloan School of Management for an Advanced Certificate for Executives in Management, Innovation, and Technology (ACE). Karl is on the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, was the recipient of the 2024 CXO 2.0 (C-Level Exec) Business Leadership Excellence Award, and is also a member of Shadow Ventures, an AEC Technology and Construction venture capital group. Karl currently serves on numerous corporate, technology, and nonprofit Advisory Boards, as well as several top national business and technology associations. Karl has been married for almost 27 years and has three great high-achieving teen/20's daughters and a delightful miniature goldendoodle named Rover.
Alvaro Covarrubias
Manager - Underground Team
With 30 years of experience in Telecommunications, Alvaro understands all aspects of Communications from Coax to Fiber, as well as Underground and Aerial construction. He has managed teams of 5-100+ members and multiple large contracts in 42 of the 48 contiguous states. In addition, he specializes in river, railroad, and highway crossings. Alvaro joined BDG in 2023 and brings his knowledge with a focus on cross training our employees in underground, aerial, and pole climbing with an emphasis on safety for a broader scope of understanding.
